    Motocross 2012

    Here's a link to the TV schedule for the outdoors this year. Confusing is one word I'd use to describe it...

    Re: Motocross 2012

    I'm so glad they're airing first motos on TV this year. My only days off are Sundays and I used to miss the first motos, the Moto 1 "highlights" were worthless on TV.

    I predict Dungey opens up a nice series points lead the first few rounds, then Stewart will start giving him a run for his money on the zook, then some of the injured will start coming back and it will get better and better (barring more injuries).

    Dungey for the 450's and Tomac in the 250's.

    (and yes it will be Dungeys 2nd title with a * )

    why is there an "*" with rd's title? was he on the juice?! haha

    or because all the top guys were hurt? can't you say the same thing about rv's title this year or both of cr's titles? a title is a title, just like a win is a win, doesn't matter how you get it. sure, some are harder to get then others but the title really does speak for itself.

    I agree with pbr and Shea. The title is without the rest of the top guys there but they blew it and got hurt and didn't ride all year. He has been there til the end is motocross and that's what wins championships. I am split on it

    Here we go again ~ DNQ, DNS, DNF, injuries, bad luck, etc do not turn another riders' championship into a ( * ) when they print the record books! Bottom line. They stay healthy, ride well, and don't have team drama... all the better for the better team/rider that year.

    How did BJ win the BITD championship last year??? Oh yeah, someone got a penalty after the race and then BJ became the champ... Does his championship have an asterisk??? NOPE!

    Also am VERY excited to watch the Lites MX... They have been mixing it up quite well throughout the SX year & I'm sure they will carry their momentum outdoors.

    Any word on when CR will be back?

    You guys go in circles on the same few subjects. The only reason I said that is because I'm a Dungey fan and its only fair that I let it be known that I have the same stand on him winning with RV not there as I did with RV winning with everyone else gone. I never once said (and nobody who feels this way has ever said it either) that it somehow didn't count or that the records would show anything different.

    As far as giving examples for comparison - how about these;
    Jeff Emig wins Vegas SX when all the other riders "couldn't see". He won, it counted but anybody who knows anything kniows it would have been atleast a little bit different. OR...if dead people didn't vote for Obama he might not be president...it still counted...but it is what it is. If you don't understand what I'm saying just forget it.

    You start bashin on "The Fro"..... now your just getting outta control! It might have to come down to blows! (or beer bong contest). Dungey & the KTM won't last, Home Boy on the Yellow Hoopty is going to crash out (AGAIN)! I'm going for Barcia (450) and my Oklahoma brotha Bogle in lite's!!
    Tapped is what I do,,,, T-Baggin is in the blood!

    Im pretty bummed it didnt stay at Pala or go back to GH. Elsinore is the same ** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**ty dirt and no elevation changes. But it does have some nice white fences and some green grass.
