I would think he is still in shape to hang with the young kids endurance wise, but wouldn't expect him to be able to keep their pace... maybe that will work for him and he'll finish the season with a top 10 average and win the championship after the youngins crash out...

Ryno is in pretty amazing shape. Maybe even better shape than when he was racing full time. But I don't think he has the speed to be a top ten guy. I also don't think its a full season deal. '
And someone mentioned Dungey and the RMZ breaking. I think he lost a chain and ran out of gas??? At least during the race. Big difference than bike failure. Im betting JS7 is going to be a BEAST! He is on a bike the he wants to be on and it has a winning track record. He could have sat on his ass and collected a check all summer but has chose to come out and race for free. Dungey better be ready.
Ryno's fitness isn't the question. He is the Ryno after all. It's just the age and the speed that are in question. Ryno is one of the toughest guys I've ever seen on a bike. Back in '03 (I think) when he and Brown were going for the 125 out championship Ryno raced Southwick, one of the toughest tracks out there, with the smallest bone in his lower leg broken (tibia or fibula, the small one). The fastest lap of the race was his, set on the last lap of the last moto. Track getting beat to chit lap after lap of each moto and he was still fit enough to do that.
And as Chaser said, it's not for the full season.
Don't bother me. I'm wasting potential.
Life's a grave, dig it.
Chaser, you must have missed the race where Dungeys bike wouldn't start and he stood there on the line while the race started. The gas tank was full and the chain was on.
The rest of your post is quotes from my other posts so obviously I agree with everything else.
As far as Ryno goes, it's a one race deal. It'll be cool to see him out there. Pass the time til Canard comes back
Keep this thread alive.
