    I'm sure Kevin is referring to the loading on the bearing itself. On the upper arm there is very little axial load on a horizontal bearing, mostly radial loads - and that is what the bearing is designed to handle best.

    Did you make the lower arm as a sheetmetal part. . .looks like it; I need to figure out how to use that function in SW's efficiently.

    yes it is a sheetmetal part. its the lower with out inside gussets and top plate. im working on the guts right now. i made a mock up spindle just so i can line everything up. "that's not the spindle being used"

    Are referring to the orientation of the hole in the middle, or the total bearing ?

    They're referring to the total bearing. See first post pics.
