Whats the latest and greatest trans set up with these new eco techs in class 10? Mendi, Fortin, Folts? 5 speed or 6 speed or ? What are most people running?

The new aluma crafts run tha new seq 6 speed mendeola "LQ. Good price but will it hold up? Can anyone chime in on the new LQ456?

If price wasn't an option
1. Fortin 6 spd sequential (first choice but the most expensive)
2. Small Fortin 5 pd
3. Lightened Mendeola S5 (might still be heavy)
4. Mendeola MD5
5. LQ series is a question mark could be the best choice but durablitity and availability has not been proven. I know people who have paid in full six months ago and still haven't gotten their trans

Very good box. I run both the AGB10 and the Fortin FRS6. The 6 is about 20lb lighter and if you're in the states, it's easier to support.

Any info on the new mendiola 6 spd sequential? I have a new alumicraft 10 in the jig right now. Most likely going fortin 5 spd. Is the no lift shift worth the extra $$$ and is it one more thing to haunt you 1/2 way to La Paz? It will be mated to the 2.4 Direct inject by Danzio. Can't wait for this car to be done.
