Re: Class 10 Trans?
Is the 2.4 L direct injection engine legal yet in any racing organization? I know it does not fly in BITD, but I'm not sure about SCORE.

Re: Class 10 Trans?
I believe they are looking at putting a restrictor plate to limit the HP to the non-DI 2.4 ecotec motors. We are planning on running the same engine and were told this by Turnkey...just waiting to hear the final numbers...sorry about the highjack...

Re: Class 10 Trans?
Direct inject is legal for SCORE and will soon be legal for BITD. I don't see why it is such a big deal? Anyways any info on trans and no lift shift?

Re: Class 10 Trans?
yes, direct injection is legal and almost all the management systems have had no lift shift (shift interrupt). we have been suppling di systems for a while, Steve Humphrey

Re: Class 10 Trans?
Still waiting on the new Mendeola 6 speed to show up . I bought it about 6 months ago and keep getting the same run around. I know Cooley has had good luck so far with the 3 that he has so far. I wont be totally convinced until you get about 20-30 of them out running in different cars. Being in the transmission business i have used or worked on just about every 10 car trans and there are pros/cons to all of them. Finding the one that can suit your budget and service maintenance is a tough choice.
