Just food for though but if NASCAR drivers are having a hard time getting sponsorship for big races we sure as hell are gonna have a hard time getting them for offroad!

Plan is to race them all.

Last race we had trouble with the new truck but we have that all sorted out now.

This was on a regional Fox Sports channel and it was only shown in CA, AZ and NV? Am I correct on that? I think its cool that ANY offroad racing is shown on TV and thats because I am into it personally. Now, do I think that someone flipping through channels would have watched this program? Maybe for a few min but not the whole hour IMO. I think it could have been condensed down to 30min and been a more exciting show possibly. I think for their FIRST TV show it was pretty good and will look forward to seeing more in the future. Like Ramsey said they dont have big name guys and Trophy Trucks yet so for what they are working with as far as entries I think it was pretty good. Hopefully they can get some of the big name guys to start racing it and that would help for sure.
I believe it was seen in other states, I know for a fact it was seen in Georgia.

In response to the questions regarding DVD availability, I am currently taking reservation orders via phone at 702-407-3059 and expect to have an initial inventory of DVD's available for shipment by the end of this week.

If you would prefer to reserve your DVD's via email, please contact me at [email protected]. In the email please provide your name, race team number, contact phone number, and the number of DVD's you would like to order. I will contact you to make the final purchase arrangements and discuss when you can expect the DVD's to be shipped.

Response has been very positive today with the amount of DVD’s ordered so do not wait to order.

Through phone calls from friends and family also confirmed in Idaho, Washington, Nebreaska, Louisiana and Ohio got it. As stated before in a previuos post, we have only suppiled the fishing pole and will continue to do so. It is up to the racer to go fishing for sponorships, they will come. Good luck and can't wait for the PC show on Thursday and to see everyone at the Fireworks 500 in July. I get to spend all this next weekend on course in Reno again. This is my 1% of fun. hahahahaha

I have to say some of your posts make me laugh too, but as long as were both laughing and talking about HDRA, its all good. We are talking about many concepts and some are getting confused with others. Still not sure where the Monster Garage reference came from that was never made, but the simple point was this is an undeniable tool HDRA racers have at their disposal. What someone does with it is up to them. It’s like a hammer, you can use it to break rocks, or build a mansion; your choice.

The reference to Leslie Porterfield was that she was able to secure quite a lucrative sponsorship in a sport that is somewhat off the mainstream map just as our sport is. Bonneville racing is legendary, as is Baja, and both could be more than they are.

Ya Leslie is hot and goes 200 MPH!!!, Brandon Arthur is only 16 and flies a 5000lb truck 200ft at 100mph during a race! Whats the point? They each have a niche to exploit (beauty/youth), and having tools to do it makes it possible, not easy…..possible). Racers…find your niche, set your goals high, and use the tools available.

Not sure what 8ullsh!t was spouted but if dreams, possibilities , and concepts are BS to some, so be it. It would be awesome to see Pistol at an HDRA race!

Re: Now that HDRA show has aired...Opinions??

"Can't we all just have our vehicles prepped and trailered to Reno the first week of July?"

I wanna see a giant entry list with lots of unlimiteds at the 500 mile race - ALL on private land - with amazing terrain - from deserts to mountains - like the last 50 miles of V2R, really. What other stateside race has a whole week of prerunning! And, if you get bored... the Mustang Ranch is right there! zing!

If Roger Norman / HDRA does not mind, I want to edit and show some of the footage from the VORRA race 2 years ago on this property.... I have never shown it and I was all over the course on my moto... spectacular scenery.
