any updates on lobsam

He had surgery Tuesday to stabilize his back with some hardware and repair torn dural sac and nick on the spinal cord. He still needs work on his hand. The immediate goal is to get him sitting in a chair. Long term, the goal to regain leg function. This was very serious and he and his family need our support. We are working on putting something together very shortly.

I don't want to be rude or impolite, but I was wondering if there was any spinal cord damage.... sounds like a little.... let's all pray that any extremity paralysis goes away leaving Lobsam with full function and sensation. I'm sure we all can't help but wonder about the nature of the crash.. has anything been shared yet? high speed? was it on the sandy whoops/g-outs along hway3? was this in a prerunner or a full-on tt?

I was fortunate enough today to visit with a great man, racer, father and husband. He is in good spirits knows he has a long
Battle ahead. But with all that being said he reminded me of whats really important. He told me that no mater what

Happens he has the use of his arms and can hold/hug his kids. When the rest of us forget whats importatnt things like this

If a slightly pudgy out of shape guy like me can crush his spine and make a comeback with no health insurance, a stud like Lobsam can do it for sure! Hang in there man, we've been praying for you and your family every day at home and have a prayer group for you at church. Your injuries sound a bit worse than mine, but with the right attitude, determination, hard work and support you can do it brother. Again, praying every day for you and your family. Stay strong, stay positive and know we're out here sending the good vibes your way.

Up date: They moved him out of the SICU yesterday. Still has a VERY long road to travel. Thank you all for your prays and good thoughts.
