Race Prep Check List....

I have searched the site and found people who have posted race prep check lists before, but those links have been dead for months.....Can anyone one here share their Race Prep Lists? I have a beamed car, I would really appreciate it.

Fastners - all checked and tightened correctly, dont forget to check lug nuts as well.
Comforts - water for occupants
GPS - is the course loaded with dangers marked ?
List placed somewhere visible in cab, informing you of pit stops, and what will be done at each one, ( fuel / tires / driver or rider changes )
Fluids - FUEL, p/s , oil, trans, coolant , brake, rear end - are they all topped off ?

I don't have it, but I bet the book "Prepare to Win" by Carroll Smith probably has an excellent and comprehensive prep list in it. . .unfortunately the book is out of print and usually pretty expensive (which is why I don't own it. . .yet).

There´s got to be a practical excel list from some experienced teams here.... any one care to share a bit more insight?

BTW.....check all electrical connections!!! At a MDR race one time the truck's engine kept cutting off during the race....he came in the pits and we spent 2 hours rewiring the ignition to find out the ground wire was not secure!!!

I ordered a checklist from Speedway Motors that is a race prep checklist on one side and a race day checklist on the other side - came in a pad like a pad of paper. It's dirt track oriented, but it's also a good starting point for short course. Tools, spares, consumables, etc, is a separate list. I Googled for a race checklist some time ago and was surprised at the lack of info, but that may have just been my search criteria.
