That sounds awesome to me Kent. PDiddy is thinking about a trip too. We just need to pick a date and make it happen.

That sounds like alot of fun

    That's perfect timing for me.

But I'm only going if Jerry Zaiden can go - since he invented the Ford Raptor and all.

    ... Hey Kent.

since you're the RR Master .. what cab size/bed size configuration do you like the best?

I have heard from many raptor owners that the 4 door is just awkward and doesn't handle nearly as good compared to the extended cab version.

does this stand true for the RR as well??

    Keep up the good work!!

I own a Quad Cab, but I like the Crew Cab the best. I've tested both quite a bit and think handling is very close - but it's a little better for the big 4 door Crew Cab because the weight is more centralized. The CC makes more traction on acceleration and it turns better - that you can feel immediately. The Ram Runner shocks are a lot bigger than the OE Raptor shocks, so they seem to work better with the added weight - or a little weight in the bed.

It's possible that the Raptors don't share the same handling improvements because the shock size isn't as forgiving as the weight increases. In the Raptor's stock 2.5" shocks, there's only a tiny 2.0" piston. Fox has a new 3.0" kit for the Raptor that will take it to the next level. The front is a lot like the Ram Runner and the rear is an external bypass shock.

It's a very cool kit. You can get it from KORE.

Kroeker, is there a difference if ordered through KORE or Mopar?

The Raptor 4 door has a longer wheelbase than the extended cab by almost a foot. I am pretty sure crew cab and quad cab Rams are the same wheelbase with the crew cab having a shorter bed. I assume the extra wheelbase could make a difference in the handling as well.
