The desert community has been wondering if Nimrod's significant other was named Mr. Slave

With the suspension, body glass, front bumper and rear tire rack, it's under 10K. And that's for everything.

You would have to add paint, tires, wheels and lights as well - probably another 2-3K at most.

This is a very reasonable price if you understand the level of performance you're getting for your money.

I built my personal Dodge Ram, starting with a 2009 Ram 1500 4x4 that I bought for 21K. It only had 11,000 miles on it. It has the 5.7 Hemi and some options but it's a pretty basic truck.

The point is that for around 30K total, you can get a very nice, modern, wide-track off road truck with all the latest technology - no squeaking heims, no clattering bypass tubes, just top-shelf long-travel equipment that's happy on the road or trail.
Guys, its a pre-runner for 30k!? Unless Stewart Raceworks is having a fire sale I think a Ram Runner is the best bang for buck?!

    Great point!!

The way i see it is the Raptor is a truck for the road that has off road capabilities, and the Ram Runner is an off road truck with on-road capabilities. personally, i dont see why more people wouldn't jump all over a ram runner. with all of the "prerunner" trucks out there that have problems with factory warranty, getting it smogged, PAINTING FENDERS, professional installation etc... The RR is a rad deal with the best proven parts available .. mash in the dirt and drive on the street without getting hassled by the cops.. it's a win win!

Found myself cruising the Auto Trader last night looking for a Ram 1500 4X4. Thanks a lot Kent!

Isn't that pretty close to what Jerry has been saying? Buy an F150 and put his stuff on it. I'm pretty stoked on the Ram Runner and Kore. I can't really afford another 47k Raptor if the short bus ever kicks the bucket.

Hey, I had a 1964 Dodge D200 CrewCab 4X4 with a 318ci in it back in college, great back seat and front bench for that matter! It was bullet proof, at least the sheet metal was.

Yeah I had a dodge with a push button tranny on the dash, green with a white star on the door. We used to huck that thing into the creek and keep going to the swimming holes in the 70's. Never let me down. Think I paid $400 for it.
