Yeah, but Jerrys stuff is not "factory" supported and will void the warranty, right?

Resale is where I see a difference....
    Raptor- buy 50k - re-sell 45k
    built F150- build truck 40k - re-sell 20k
ram runner - buy 30-40k - re-sell ???? (will they hold their value like a Raptor?)

Ford or Ram, it doesn't matter to me. I just think it's cool the factory is putting forth the effort. Now, I saw the Toyota Baja yesterday and that was not to exciting.

The more factory support and options the better. I'm pretty disappointed in Toyotas effort too. Bilstien needs to push them to something more aggressive.

Re: Raptor vs. Ram Runner Part #1

FYI: Dodge is about to debut an 8-Speed Auto in the Ram...along with a few other "improvements"...

As to resale value/ROI...a guy could get a VERY inexpensive USED Dodge -OR- a SMOKIN' DEAL and a 2012 and spend Sub $20K on it and have a truck with a "Link-Rear-End"...

Example: Nicely Equiped Quad-Cab Rams in Redding for $24K after all the Rebates...etc. Spend $20K on the Kroeker Bits...Voila!

Also, to be VERY FAIR...be sure to add the 3" Fox Shcks and various "Up-Grades" to your Raptor when doing this Comparo.

How about just listing it, here, so everyone knows what to get/not get.

    I'm jus' sayin'...
