98-00 is the same front end. 01+ is different, you would need the header panel, headights, corners and grill to convert it to an 01+

i know that everything would bolt up if i was doing this with stock components but i would have to modify the electrical. i do not know what needs to be don't to make the 98 harness work with 01 components.

thank you for the heads up. edits made.

if this works out we would be swapping everything that bolts to the core support and the inner fenders.

Everything should go in the same, I just changed my 98 front end to an 01 a couple weeks ago. Only problem I had was the headlight bulbs wouldn't go in right to the 01 headlights even though they're supposed to be the same. Maybe since I have HIDS. But I just did a little trimming and they went in. Also for the turn signals instead of using two bulbs like in the 98's it only uses one. So your turn signals will be flashing really fast. I heard a flasher can fix that problem. Other than that everything else should go in good.

On that one I got the 06 one because I think it looks better and I had to trim it down a bit too where the plug goes in.
