Lobsom - get well!
i concur..it's a sad state of affairs all the way around when some administers so called "charities" skim off the top and give some folks a reason for a legit, well intended outfit like fast aid grief about what they try to do for people in our sport. there are a lot of different things jared and the volunteers could be doin' with their time and a lot of different ways they could be making a hell of a lot more money out there if this was their intention. instead, they choose to try to help out us racers when some of us get dealt a lousy hand . rest assured that fast aid and their volunteers aren't interested in profiteering on the very people they're trying to help. that would counter productive and would just be plain silly. i'm a proud contributer to fast aid when i can and i'm proud to sport their stickers on my racetruck to do what i can to pimp their good work.

Re: FAST-AID for Lobsam Yee.
Thanks for the kind words- we really do give up a lot of time in exchange for nothing (monetarily speaking)... We do it because we love the sport.
And the thank you letters and gratitude are reward enough.
There have been some very unsavory and flat out false things posted on the Internet recently by a less than credible source. While its discouraging, kind words from reputable people really light a fire under us to continue doing the right thing for the right reasons... Those reasons being the racers/crews/volunteers who we have helped weather storms in their lives that might otherwise have been even more catastrophic. We have been the conduit through which tens of thousands of dollars have flowed to keep families in their homes and out of bankruptcy in a very short time.
Thanks again from the FA crew- we know we couldn't do it without those in the community who love this amazing sport as much as we do.
