02 sensor location in new exhaust

Just wondering if anyone has input on where the 02 sensors should be located. How far from the engine/ muffler / header etc? Dose it matter? I have an lt1 with a 2 into 1 exhaust exiting on pass. side if you need that info. I know I know it should be dual, but no room for that. Thanks

In the collector, after the merge.

The engine has 2 02 sensors. Wire harness is labled as driver and pass. side. Do I put both in the collector, do they need to be done b4 the collector and = distance from heads, or?

One o2 goes in each collector as labeled. The distance does not matter, the o2 sensor should be exposed to all cylinders. That's why you put the sensor in the collector.

You MUST also mount the O2 senser in the 10 to 2 oclock position any lower the thing will die from condensation.
