This is the R-G stimulus pyramid racing series – and what the heck do you do if shell out the ½ mil and nothing ever comes of the series? You will be in a long line of people wanting their money back IMO—sketchy at best---Does anyone know why we don’t have races at the LA Coliseum ? No parking and the natives will have a 4 hour blue light special shopping spree in your car-= if it’s there when you get out?
This is the response I got from SST asking whats it going to take to get involved---
Thank you for your interest in Robby Gordon's Stadium SUPER Trucks. We are really excited about the Stadium Trucks involved in the Stadium SUPER Trucks (SST) Series. Once you see these trucks in action, I guarantee you will be as excited as we are!
Currently, there are 3 categories of vehicles participation in the SST Series: Stadium Trucks, BIGFOOT® and Side-by-Side/UTV. Additionally, we are considering including a Quad class to the Series.
To qualify as a driver for a Stadium Truck, first and foremost, you must have significant racing experience. Potential drivers will need to do the following:
Prior to filling out an application, applicant must have a license with USAC;
Fill out an application;
Interview;
Have an agreement in place with SST or a Team; an
Pass a Driver’s Test.
Once potential driver has passed the interview process and has an agreement in place, they will be required to pass a drivers test. To take the Driver’s Test, applicant must provide a $10,000 deposit, which will cover any damage done to the vehicle during the test.
Currently the way that the Series will work is the Team will get to choose and employ a driver of their choice. As long as you are a qualified driver, we are happy to include your name on the SST List of Qualified Drivers, which we will provide to Teams which do not already have a driver.
The great thing about SST is that the Drivers (Robby Gordon) are going to be able to make a living off their sponsorships!
Also, to continue to stay informed, please visit the Stadium SUPER Trucks website atwww.stadiumsupertrucks.com for more information related to the series, teams and sponsorship opportunities. On July 15, 2012, we anticipate releasing more information about the series schedule, the license with USAC and committed teams.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks, Robby Barack Obama Gordon
Hay maybe Jim Baldwin will lend him a hand and call it CORR?
How do you like me now?

Maybe it is, but Internet slandering is lame for those who don't know the circumstances, or both sides of the story.

Re: Stadium Super Trucks!
With the great racing going on in LOORS and the great drivers I dont see how some spec racing is going to improve the sport.Didnt Tony George try something like this with Indy racing?

Funny Guy from the North, eh
Re: Stadium Super Trucks!
Not sure how this whole thing is gonna turn out,I give RG credit for doing it his own way but I do question it,with so many race cars in socal , and so many people that would like to race in the coliseum my thoughts would be a open buggy class with the 25 fastest qualifyers, a couple truck classes,UTV and of course monster trucks to bring the kids in and have the sst as a celebrity thing

Re: Stadium Super Trucks!
Seems like an ego trip, why the need for a new series, why couldn't RG just race in the LOORS or TORC or something similar? Why does he need his name in the title?
