No one is forcing anything one lap Pat, whats up , you have someone drive your 5/16 70% of the races in SNORE, you buy a Trophy lite race it what once or twice, buy a 12 car I dont think you ever even raced that did you,oh forgot you drove Robs 12 car in Parker and destroyed in half the race from what I heard, you drive Heidi's truck a lap or two and now your Mr race dezert, DA tuff guy that wants to tell all the class 10 guys what we need to do and accomodate what you want now. You or Brian cant race fast or last without wrecking. Build an eco-tec car and show us what you have. You two give the DA a bad rap LOL!

For the record , eco-tecs are not lame , thats a mature insightful comment as well as we did not do OUR homework. No we went with what the RACE PROMOTERS RULES WERE and then put our eco-tec packages together. Matt knew that the Honda was only legal in SCORE/Baja and he was fine with it and chose to do the Honda package anyway as we have talk to him about this. The only one that ever complains about this is Busby the fuel guy not Matt. You dont see us belonging to a group and then think we can tell class 12 or class 8 what their rules are. You two are wrong and I just have the balls to stand up to Mr. Fuel and Mr DA race dezert moderator and tell you. Us class 10 guys are all idiots because we didnt do our homework and went by the promoters rules and now you want us to change thats BULLSHEET. Will some of you class 10 guys come on here and have the balls to tell these two Mr Populars.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!

Can you get through a whole post without the name calling? My goodness. I never called you guys idiots. I'm just not a fan of the Ecotecs. Especially after a race weekend and seeing how many "blew up" after that race. In all different classes. I thought there was a big stink to revive Class 10 by the racers and the Ecotec was what was shoved in the promoters face. It should have just been any 2.4 or smaller sealed engine. Nothing wrong with options. BITD has the Ford 2.0. Not really sure about that engine. I really love Class 10. It would be really AWESOME if it was opened up to any 2.4 sealed engine.

What happens when the Ecotec disappears? Does someone have a crystal ball that I don't know about? What happens then?

Sorry I'm being so harsh, but Mr Busby has pissed many of us off with this crap and he does not even race class 10 and thinks he;s some big shot in off-road racing and now your chime in with him (bad mistake). From what I heard some of the eco-were tweaked for max hp, trying to run on race fuel or the direct injection engines but thats just rumor from someone.Besides your missing the point. $600 for a used engine $2500 for a new one and your good again. Changing to a Honda 15-20 k with everything and only Fuel guys and oil pump guys can afford that J/K. It does not matter , class 10 in SCORE is open , so build a car and race there. As far as SNORE , BITD, MORE , HDRA its where most class 10 racers race that cannot afford Baja or to just throw out 15-20k to change engine packages to keep up with the Jones. If 50 guys that race class 10 like the rules and some dont which most of them dont even race class 10 want it to change WHY. The eco-tec is not going away for atleast a few years so I guess we can worry about that then. PS Busby threw such a little beotch with HDRA when they were starting up they created a class with any 4 cylinder and do anything you want to it just for him. Why hasnt that class just became huge. Why dont he have one was it just to try and change us. Look at the amount of entries in the stateside races in class 10 vs SCORE races I would say the promoters are doing something right with class 10 rules. Even with the 2.4 allowed in a single seat or two seat The Mint , Parker , V-2-R and other races get 4 times what SCORE gets in class 10 entries its not broke quit trying to fix it. Wait until the economy recovers a little more and class 10 entries will even be larger except SCORE. Sorry P-Diddy but you pushed a button that Busby has worn out. PS If you know Casey -BITD or Jim-MORE or the SNORE BOD OR Robert Gross/ Rodger Norman HDRA like I do you should know you dont shove anything in their face and get it approved.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!

Also Pat , you do not have to run the eco-tec, you can run the VW package , you can run the Kroyer Honda package that just absolutely kicks butt or you can run the fat Toyota package that is bad azz also. You do not have to run and eco-tec if you hate them now even after you said they were the greatest thing in the world when you raced a trophy lite once. You just cant run that Honda that puts out 60 more HP for NOW. I wish You or Bryan would buy a class 10 and come race. Lot of guys would love to come up on Busby bumper HAHA!

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!

If the ECOTEC class was created to test driver, team and chassis setup with same engine and budget on mind, why there is always a couple of asxxxes trying to screw it up? Don't they understand that there will always be a better engine? What is wrong with these people, is the idea that difficult to understand?
Anybody can win with more HP, but can you win with the same?
