Busby, I was just trying to lighten the mood of the thread with a joke. There was no malicious intent. I've ridden in Baja and had similar experiences with missing pit stops ect... Let's leave it at that, bringing Ox's tragic incident into this is not what I had in mind at all. That was you. I have nothing but respect for him and all who ride and race the Baja Peninsula.
You have made a lot of highly opinionated statements about a class that you have not raced, and yes you have rubbed a lot of us the wrong way, maybe not BIG TIME, but close. I'm not big on Internet grudges so I'm done arguing about this.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!

My problem with the motor deal is how it was handled. 90% of the class ten guys went and put Ecotec's in their cars including myself. Then SCORE a year after allowing Ecotec's in decides to open the motor up allowing a motor that produces 20% more power then the motor that the majority of the class already has. So right now to be competive in BITD, HDRA SNORE and SCORE you need two different motor packages...

Yes, D-rek SCORE screwed up. With inconsistent rules that don't make sense you get low car counts. Look at the class 10 entries in BITD compared to SCORE. I would say 90% of that is due to consistent logical rules on the motor packages in BITD. I don't care whether the stock sealed motor we use is a Ecotec, Honda, Ford, or whatever, as long as it is consistent and can be easily checked for rules compliance. I'm pretty sure most of us racing just want a semi-level playing field when it comes to horsepower. The Ecotec has done that, and I can't speak for everyone, but I haven't had a single problem with mine after 6 races.

I agree you guys, Brian will never admit when he is wrong. He turns things around like trying to bring Matt into his beotch session last time and pissing everyone off instead of just shutting up. Now he wants to bring the RIP brothers or Ox's tradgic situation into this which is very imature. People like OX , Pab , The Ashcrafts, Bean and others I met way before the DA group allowed so many newbies are awesome people and this has nothing to do with the DA. Busbys interpetation of how all this class 10 and class 4 stuff went down is just that. Those of us that sat in meetings with promoters and BOD's know the truth. Busby could you nicely just be quiet about class 10 rules until you own and race one please. P-Diddy you have been my friend in fact I even named you that and helped your team when you were learning about off road racing in the 5/1600 in SNORE. You have to understand with all the crap Busby had already started with many class 10 guys. You come on here and become his sidekick and call eco-tecs lame , peices of crap accuse us of shoving this in promoters faces and givin them no choice and now you have to live with it etc etc. That probably was not a very well received thing. Let this go again one more time. Busby leave class 10 alone. Beotch about class 5 or class 12 wanting different engine rules but class 10 in the USA is ok right now and many that have been hit hard by the economy are looking forward to getting their lame- POS eco-tec class 10 cars back out there. Thanks

I am not opposed to this entire thread being deleted, I stand strongly in what I have wrote but in reality nothing should have been said except congrats to Matts team and how well the 3 racers did in Baja. Why its always turned into an engine rule change in class 10 after a SCORE race is f-n ridiculous.

Funny that you know my history so well guys. I didn't see you B-Dub as I was growing up in San Clemente.

Funny that I didn't see any of you at the table with Casey & I speaking about this when the whole PRO10 thing was being tossed around.

I'll sit over here as an uninformed "newbie" who doesn't know about anything according to you guys. Guess your opinions are the only valid ones on RDC. Carry on.

Yep your right Busby, your always right according to many that know you, we also know you talked to Casey and tried to go behind the majority of the class 10 racers back just like you did with HDRA on class 10 rules and you dont even own or race a class 10. HDRA made a class just for you , unlimited vehicle and run any 4 cylinder you want what else do you need. Cant you just realize this was a thread to compliment a few race teams no matter what engine and series they choose to race and you always have to bring up changing OUR rules stateside. Think about it off -road racing is more enjoyable when you keep your mouth quiet instead of you trying to change what the majority wants. Please go away and stay off class 10 forum we do not need your drama. Thanks and I wish Amber services the best.

Busby and B-Dub let it go. This thread is going in the wrong direction. Was suppose to be about good finish for class 10's. Its great to see the class 10 numbers rising.
