20, 30, 40 ... doesn't really matter if the driver doesn't have skills. But this is all semantics at this point ... you two obviously want it as a spec ... and that's fine. I respect your opinions. My opinion is just different.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!
Brian honestly , when we get the majority to have a meeting again. We will put it out there and see if the majority wants to open up to more engine packages or leave rules as they are. If so racers can sign a petition and then present it to promoters. IMO thats how this should be done. Not a fuel guy lobbying promoters for this. Just being serious.

Would you PLEASE stop with this ... you DO NOT know what you are talking about here. Did I have the petition? Yes, Did I speak with the engine builders? Yes. Was it my idea? NO.
It was the engine builders who have been supporting the sport for 30+ years who came up with this. Not me. Just like they did for the class 12 engine option. They are looking to feed their families too ... looking to be suppliers of EcoTech's too. The petition asked if they (FAT, Major's, Kroyer, Redline, etc) could certify and tag engines as well ... not keeping it to two to three engine builders alone. If you are so "IN THE KNOW" you wouldn't be making it into something that it isn't.
You have made this personal with me and it is unfair. You are posting this up as well as other things about me which are untrue. You know NOTHING about me, what I do, what I've raced, what I own, who I speak to ... anything. Drop it when it comes to me. You have a different opinion than I & that's ok. But you are making it personal now and it's starting to irritate me.
Please refrain from posting about me, and I will do the same about you.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!
Anyone who would like to see the list of those who signed this petition or what it was, please feel free to email me & I will show you the support from the racers, business owners & engine builders who supported this. I have copies.
B-Dub has no clue as to what truly happened or was spoken about with the sanctioning bodies I spoke to (with others) because he wasn't invited by those sanctioning bodies (LIKE I WAS) to speak about it.
I have nothing to hide here. Thank you.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!
Brian you sheet starter, I was at meetings with promoters getting the eco-tec approved and allowed. I was there with a couple engine builders/ dyno tuners also. I tried to have other engine builders allowed to inspect and tag eco-tecs ask George Jiminez, Adam Wikk, Bill Shapely , John at LC Engineering and others. We were shot down by promoters , as it was said any engine supplier or builder could sell engines to racers but only SCORE ,Turnkey or Adam Wikk could seal for now. You have made this personal with me now and you better stop. Class 10 is fine and quit trying to get things done behind racers back like you did with HDRA .They personally made a class just for you. Any 4 cylinder allowed why have you not raced that. S.T. F.U. You do not own or race class 10. This is about RACERS , not you. Engine builders do just fine without us eco-tec guys. We spent thousands with them in the past. We want to feed our families and race class 10 with them also. Go away PLEASE, we dont want your BS in class 10.Go cry about spec V-8's in the super 8 class and them buying engines fron Turnkey. The promoters make the rules and we race. It is nice though that Casey BITD , The SNORE BOD , Roger and Robert HDRA and Jim at MORE listen to the class 10 racers and not you.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!
Brian cant you just concentrate on trading fuel to ride co dawg in other peoples race trucks and leave class 10 alone PLEASE. I and many other class 10 racers have asked you to stop nicely several times. Things are getting better financially with hard work and me and my boys will be out there. We look forward to seeing you race against us. Whens this new 10 car you were braggin about gonna be done. You were not bee sheeting again were you. If you leave class 10 alone everyone stops. Look back to the begining of this thread. It was started to compliment Matt and others and YOU STARTED all this AGAIN. PLEASE STOP, Oh and Brian you have made this personal now being that a reaction to a prescribed medicine almost took my life as well as set me back from racing as much financially. But I have been back in the car practicing and testing. Please get your 10 car done many would love to see you drive and even give you the pole your 1st race if your driving.

Re: Baja 500: 3 Class 10's in the TOP 20!
This is crazy. I check in on Class 10 forum and its the same ole shtuff.
Class 10 has always been a very expensive class to race. It was different from other limited classes in that you had all kinds of power options that you could put together to get the best car for your driving style. There were teams racing Honda, BMW, Ford, and VW motors successfully. It was perfect class for a person that wanted unlimited suspension with only basic limits on power-plant.
The research and development aspect of different motors is part of the fun!
If teams like running the eco-tec, then run it. If others want to spend $$ on developing a better option, they should be be encouraged to just that. The entire class benefits from their R & D.
This idea that everybody HAS to run the same exact motor worries me. I am afraid that soon my Kreger will be booted out of class 10; it gives me an advantage over other class 10 cars and not everybody who wants one can afford one.
In God I trust; Everybody else needs data.
