urethane grease
I have heard that patroleum based grease eats away at urethane? If this is true what should I use on bushings? I have used regular ol grease in the past and the bushing seams to get soft and chunk but could just be a heat and wear combo? Thanks

Re: urethane grease
Use silicone grease on urethane. Energy Suspension sells the best I know of. Or you could buy it from Baker and get the same stuff only pay more for it.

And don't confuse it with the silicone grease you find at the autoparts or electronics store. The right silicone grease is really thick, stickey, nasty stuff.

Re: urethane grease
Ask a stupid question....
I guess I meant "Do you just slather it on every where inside and outside the bushing, or just on the inside where the bolt/sleeve goes through. "
And do you up w/ a giant dirtball around your bushing if you lube it?

Re: urethane grease
I found some at JEG's for $11 bucks for a 8oz tub. plus no shipping no tax, but I did get nailed with the stright nine dollar handling charge. No biggie if your spending $200 but kinda a shot on a $11 item.
