Cell service?
Is there cell service at the main pit area? It would be cool to watch the IRC from main pit. I have seen a portable cell tower, it was a small trailer that had a generator with a hand crank boom. I have no idea what it would take to get something like that set up through the phone companies.
Just thinking out loud.

I have Sprint and have had service, in doing recon the last few weekends I have seen alot of calls made, but don't know who everyones carrier is. The remote parts of the property may not though, but I think you should be fine at Main. I will ask Roger what his service is and re-check this weekend. Also on that note, we are going to have two vehicles with live on board telecast of the race through IRC that everyone is going to be able to log into. I have to get the fine details from Roger on that, we have been busy on course pounding stakes, 900 in and probably 1800 to go. whoo hoo!

Good news... ok so what do I need to have to hook the IRC tracker with?
+12V and a GND wire tied direct from the battery? or switched? with or without a fuse? if so what size fuse?
Thanks
