Question, you class 9 guys think you are so much faster than 5/1600, in the interest of car count will you let me race mine against you?? I would skip ensanada to SF to race you, in over 30 years racing 5/1600 not once has class 9 come close to beating me in a 5/1600, I am calling you out!!!

This brings up an interesting idea for a future race, maybe we can set up a Class 9 vs. 5/1600 Challenge Race for 2013. We could all race for the same purse, but be scored separately for points, so if anyone is chasing points it doesn't hurt them. Maybe even a side bet for the combined race. I just think it would be cool to be racing against 40-50 other cars and if you 5/1600 guys wouldn't mind slumming it with us swingers I think it's something we should set up!!!!

Sounds like a good time.. draw for start order and NO class seperation right off the line for a limited VW shoot out! Set it up for 2013.. You will get a ton of entrys..

Barstow seems to be pretty evenly matched for the two classes, or maybe Laughlin or???? I'm open to this idea for sure!

I like 2013 because it would give alot of time to make it happen on a race day all can agree on and then promote a cool event.. Get ARTS and the Negrete Boys on board as they also promote 5-1600 class challenges. I think all of us have this year planned up with stuff already...........

In saying that I now realaized that the MORE Septmber race is a combo MORE/SNORE race and that would allow series runners from both to jump in and not have to choose a race over points in thier series chase..

Best idea could be a new location out of the MORE/SNORE calender and then everyone can go for broke without having to pace for a season overall finish..

The 2012 Class 9 "Big Race" is coming to the MORE Freedom 250 July 21

Racing for $3-$4k in bonus money and another $7500 in purse money when we hit 25 entrys.
A win this race should net over $5k easy.

20 cars entered now and in the past we have had 35 cars so it s a good pay day and an awsome day of close racing.
