Re: Congrats Herrera Racing on a first place finish at the Baja 500
I would like to thank everyone, glad we provided some good entertainment for those watching at home. Big thanks and congrats to the Fatory team you guys have always been a class act, had a great time racing againts you guys this weekend. Big thanks to Kevin and guys at HNM racing kevin build a truck that was defenatly ahead of its time, with this weekends performance proves what a great builder he is. Only wish we had the budget to have them build us a new class 6.
Like to thank my dad for all his work and financial support. He also drove one heck of a first have. Proud of my 61 yr old dad. Bigbthanks to our skeleton crew and to my co-dog Mike King and his wife Monica King who kept the team updated all day from home. She was on the computer for 14hrs. She was our eyes and ears.
Thanks to Steve at IRC for his support, Frank Deangelo and all the BFG guys. Bilstien and sonoco fuel. Thanks gain to all.

Thanks Kyle. The Black knight lights worked awesome, we ran the single amber light at night when in dust. It was incredible, looking forward on working with you in the near future as we plan on conquering the baja 1000 later this year. Thanks again.

Wow, words can't explain the pride I feel just to be in the same truck as Victor Herrera. That H&M truck proved its quality and Victor proved his speed. The Herrera Motorsports Team is back and better than ever. A big thank you to our sponsors, Black Knight for the lights; they showed us the way to the win, to IRC for the support, Bilstein for keeping all the BFG's on the ground. And to all our future sponsors we are ready race. Thanks again to Herrera Motorports for giving me a racing home. Now its time to prep for the 1000. Muchas Gracias

Like father like son...Senor Herrera raced the first half and let me tell you he wanted to win. He told me after 35 years of offroad racing the 500 was the only race he hadn't won. My wife sent us texts to keep us informed on his position, at first I thought my wife was making a mistake, he was passing trucks right from the start and was battling for the lead!?!?. At 61 years young the lead foot is heavier than ever!! he was passing the young bloods right from the start. He is a true gentleman and great racer.
I can't forget to mention the team, with only 8 people helping with the pits and working till 2 am everynight up to the race, the truck was awesome all the hard work payed off.
