well the shop got hit hard monday night/tuesday morning. whoever broke in stole over 60,000$ worth of aluminum beams, my flatbed trailer, and a work truck w/a field welder in the back. Dealing with investigators/detectives threw things off beat on Friday. Soon after I got back on track.
I could not be happier with where the tire bumps. It looks like I will not have to clear out as much firewall and wheel opening as I thought.
....Im not going to post the radius arm stuff till they are done. Which will be next weekend more than likely. Alot more work than I anticipated, but i'm already pleased with the design and structure.
The radius arms will be separate from the beams (no weld on J-beam type stuff) I chose to do them like that because:
1. a one piece beam/radius arm is a absolute heavy cumbersome piece to remove/install/service
2. IF for some reason one of the pieces gets damaged I can repair or replace the individual piece, not both the radius arm and beam.
The design will not allow for much(if any) adjustability which I am perfectly okay with...
