If insured as a race car I'll bet we all want to know who insures race cars racing that overheat and burn up!
I've found insurance that will cover my car in storage and en-route, but not one that would cover it while racing.

I'm not sure how they were able to insure it, but it couldn't have been as a street car. When i owned it we had the registration change to a green sticker only because the back registration fees were ridicules

That means nothing. My truck was registered as a green stickered "off-highway only" title. One trip the the DMV and I have a normal title with regular insurance. Granite, I do not race my vehicle.
