They covered the hospital co-pays and a portion of the food and lodging while we were in Phoenix for six days. We got the aide in April after Jared moved, he was very busy too during that time so he did it as soon as he was able. It sure did help knowing we didn't have to pay the grand for the hospital...The fact that we have great health care was a blessing as well since the air ambulance was 31k and picked up totally by Blue Shield as well as six days in Peds ICU.

Still didn't see a thank u to them in that video. Why would anyone give you "donations" when you can't acknowledge and thank the people who already helped u?

$20-30k for an heli ride is about right.

Practice racing before entering competition will help prevent spending money on nonsense or senseless loss.

On that not practice and make yourself familiar with your safety equipment.

Air Ambulances are about $20k just to launch. Then the bill goes up based on the level of care on board the bird and how far they have to fly you.

Not to be a thread hi-jacker, that's why I worked with Mercy Air to develop the Omni Advantage plan. It's only $39.00 a year. The way the plan works is you have to have health insurance and MA will accept whatever payment your insurace pays. You will never see a bill for the unpaid amount. It's in effect 24/7/365. You can be on vacation hiking, driving on the freeway or racing your car. If you need an air abmulance and Mercy or one of their subsidiaries is called, you are covered.

Ok, just for the sake of argument, I am going to pretend that your lack of a public thank you to fast aid was an over site but as one of their donors, I cant say it doesnt offend me you have, in both your video or anywhere else in this thread, neglected to say thanks.

Our little desert community has a code of helping each other. It is in our nature. Its what makes our sport special. And when somebody helps you, you are supposed to pay it forward and return the favor. So now i am wondering, "are you crazy or selfish?"

I mean seriously, maybe if you need to heal you should look inside yourself and instead of doing something like this. I know a couple of the guys that run fast aid and if they paid for your hospital copays and other expenses then you have likely taken more from them then they have for themselves. I have seen those guys sleep in their trucks and dig holes in the ground to build a memorial in 100 degree heat all for the benefit of someone else. They literally ask for nothing in return. They say its worth it and charity makes them feel good. But when I read a thread like this one i get angry.

Maybe if you guys really want to heal, you could do your own fund raiser and help their cause instead of selfishly trying to help your own. I think it would show a bit of gratitude and you seem to be lacking in that department.

As far as sponsoring you, im gonna go ahead and pass on that one. SOme things are more important than racing. Be grateful you are alive and a guy like me helped pay for your hospital stay or whatever...

The truth is... Im glad your all okay. But some of us are barely making it to the line to race, let alone pay for someone else too. Save your pennies, eventually your stuff will be back together and you can race again.

Guys, if you read the entire post and watched the video, we are asking for introductions to companies with advertising budgets to get somemore sponsorship/donation help to get back to racing.

We are not asking racers for help, unless your bored and want to come add a wrench to the project, we are asking for introductions to available sponsors and philanthropic people you may know who would like to see a race team make it back to the scene after such a perfect non-sponsored car burnt up.

So can you all please put the hatred to rest and see why we posted this....
