Tonelli nerfed us twice between the summit and borrego and both times we never heard them coming. We managed to get out of the way for everyone else, because in a stock class we check the mirrors a lot.
They bumped us, we got out of the way so they could go by, then we passed them a while later while they were stopped, and then they bumped us again after they got back up and running right as we were passing the locos mocos pit at cahabuzo. I'm pretty sure there was plenty of room to get around that time.
No big deal, but I'm just wondering if they have a horn or if that's how they pass everyone in a slower class.
Congrats to them on winning their class in any case, just finishing the 500 is a big accomplishment.

For what its worth, Im almost positive one of their guys posted an apology on Andy Bells Facebook page. Their guys arent known for smash and dash passing.

and congratulations to you and your team for finishing your very first score mexican race zach. for never having raced down there in a long endurance race, and having the summit to deal with on your part of the course, you should be very proud of your finish. this was a gnarly course for sure..now you have your first taste and i know you'll be back migo. my hometown of lemon grove has some pretty fast racers it seems like.

No harm no foul. Andy got out at BFG pit 1, and I haven't seen his facebook, but if that's the case it's a classy thing to do.
