Big jumps and good people made for a great weekend.
I’m happy to report that my mini stock survived its first race. My family and friends all had a great time. Everyone I got to talk to was super cool. Just a great time all around. The mini stock race was a battle of survival. I’m so pumped to get on the box the first time out. Ended up 2nd after a hard but clean battle with Andrea. Looking at the lap times and I think I put down the fastest lap in mini stock for the weekend on that last lap.
I want to thank my family and friends for all their hard work and support. I need to thank ICON, the truck I raced in the main was a totally different truck compared to the way it handled in Fridays practice. Every one at ICON is at the top of the cool list and they know their stuff. The support that ICON gives to the mini stocks can’t be matched. I want to tank KJP custom embroidery for hooking the team up with some sweet shirts. Thanks to Independent truck and trailer repair for welding up the truck and letting me use their lifts. And a big tanks to my new friend (don’t know if you want to be put on blast) for loaning me his bran new helmet, you saved my weekend.
I hope to see everyone again in July.

Right on! I’m looking forward to seeing your truck out there. It’s the most fun you can legally have in a mini truck IMO. My cheeks still hurt from the huge smile that was stuck on my face all weekend.

Guard those inside corners! Your truck looks like it hauls ass!
