Hey Inyo- Are you really that naive? How do you think California is going to pay the interest on those bonds? It sure isn't going to be from the funds generated by the now preserved and taken off the tax rolls property the state bought and placed in preservation. So the mopney will have to come from the general fund, which, last time I checked, is taking all kinds of money from other funds that are paid for by ...TAX PAYERS! It has become obvious you have no idea how gov't operates and how funding is aquired. I guess the money the state is going top pay those bonds off with was just free Obama Bucks out of his back pocket in D.C? Right? Let me make sure of something before I really get nuts- You do understand that a Bond is the state borrowing funds it has to pay back with interest, right?

In this case, they are being paid for by funds that were not set up to pay for those taxpayer approved items. Taxpayers by nature of their very name only support spending what the State takes in as taxes, so if the state overspends, based on tax revenue, who is paying for it? If money that was granted to be taken through a special tax and used only for a specific purpose is then taken and used for a non-approved purchase or, just moved into the general fund to pay for other things that were not paid for through the general fund tax accrual, then yes, I will complain about it, as you should. The taxpayers did not approve of each of those purchases, they approved of funds from the bonds sold to pay for them with repayment of the bonds interest to come from the general fund tax revenue. Since the State spent more than what the general fund can support, then these new purchases should not have been undertaken until such time that the state can afford it without STEALING OTHER FUNDS MONEY! Get it?
