Did we have a good number of last day sign ups? You guys have been great about updating the entry list as it slowly grows. i'm hoping that it "jumped up" on the last day of Give Away Registration! Haha

The flood gates opened at 3:55 PM! I do have changes to the entry list and I apologize, it appears it did not update correctly on the web. We will get this taken care of and the new Entry List posted Sunday as early as possible.

It is not too late to register for the Fireworks 500. June 15th was just the first payment option to receive the jacket, backpack and tickets to Monster party. Registration continues to be open and if your team registers and pays fees by July 1 at 5PM the Drive of Record will still receive the commemorative backpack.

Many teams are still working on their co-driver commitments. Either email me at [email protected] or call me in the office at 702-407-3059 to update your co-driver information. If your co-drivers need to complete their HDRA membership please have them submit their request using hdrarace.com and call me to make payment. This way I can get them on the membership list so they will be ready to participate in your Recon runs.

Being that tomorrow is last day for no increase registration funds. Are you going to release possible bonus money distribution. I was waiting on that for switching to class 7. Also I know there is 4 enter, but Matt lovell has already said he is not racing now. So that makes 3, if I change i would be four. Any luck on a possible entry to qualify for bonus. Or maybe a hypothetical bonus money distribution?

HDRA has posted following information about the bonus money:

We’ve just added $25,000 in bonus money for racers competing at the HDRA Eldorado Fireworks 500 in Reno on July 7. First overall, regardless of class, pockets a cool 10 GRAND for the win. That’s an extra $20.00 per mile for winning overall!

The balance of $15,000 will be distributed among other classes that have five or more entries for this event. There will be several winners of bonus money at this event!

We are going to set aside the 10K for overall, then take the 15K remaining and split it between the pro classes with 5 cars or more depending on how many cars actually enter in that class. So a class with 10 cars will get twice as much as a class with 5 and so on until the 15K is used up. We won't know the split until everyone is entered.

Monster Energy has increased their support of racers at the HDRA, Eldorado Fireworks 500 by awarding an additional $10,000 in prize money to bring the total cash bonuses to $35,500. Special Fueled by Monster Energy cup trophies will be awarded to fastest qualifier, fastest lap, winner of largest class and most dominating! Each of these trophies will be accompanied with a check for $2,000.
