Fireworks 500 12 mile wifi useage?
It has been said you will be using two cars for an in car camera live feed. For 12 miles from spectator area, I am assuming you plan to use a go pro hero 2 with the new wifi backpack and you have 12 miles of wifi near the spectator area. If this is the case, what are the chances the racers can use that wifi network if they have there own gopro hero 2 and wifi backpack to stream live to their friends and family?
I have the gopro hero 2 and just installed a hard wire kit for it so my backpack spot is free and I am thinking about buying this so i can control my other gopros with a remote and stream live. I just read some more on it, its nice that they include a built in battery so it does the same as a battery backpack, curious if it lasts as long.
I was just going to email christine, but i know lots of people are using gopros now and if they read this they maybe incline to pick up a wifi backpack if they dont have one so their pit team who will be there for 9-14hrs can feel more involved by watching the truck actually race.
What do you think? possibility?
