Score announces Pump gas TT class

Score announced a new class called Score Super 8. Basically a front engine live axle sealed pump gas motor class. I think it's a pretty cool, what do you guys think?

I don't know. I didn't read the complete BITD rules. Score does require it to be inspected and sealed by Score tech prior to installing it in the race vehicle. Score says to contact Score Tech to see if the motor you want to use is acceptable. Limited to 376 cubic inches. No balancing, no porting, stock as provided by the manufacturer.

Score does not list parts numbers for the engines and I don't think the only option is buying from turnkey????? Hummmm

It sounds like for Score you need a crate motor directly from GM or Ford??????

I'll call Clyde, and tell him we're getting the band back together --- he ran pump gas all the way to the tip a fews years ago - and other selected races -- #lovepemex

Seeing Clyde in the desert would be awesome, the kicker here is it has to be a stock(?) sealed(?) LS3 if a Chevy plant is used.....

I wonder how "production" appearing the body needs to be?

All that's saying is that it has to have a truck body. No open wheel. Same as a TT or class 8.

No dry sump, better order more than one engine!

"Must use stock production ECU", better add a hardware and software engineer to the team!
