Re: TORC "Going Back to Cali" for Rick Huseman Memorial Cup & 60,000 Purse Sep 29 & 3
It’s so nice to hear TORC is coming out west. I hope this is not a one time deal.
The AV fair grounds are the Cadillac of race facilities showers, camping hook up’s and asphalt pits.
Is there any talk of the pro buggy pro - lights doing a battle like the LOORRS series does? Or is this another all truck race?
How do you like me now?

I hope Traxxas guys let Team Associated drivers run it too! If this is really about Huseman's, then there should be no BS about sponsorships. Hopefully the entire shortcourse world can come together and race in honor of Rick & Jeff. We'll see.

We have 90k in 4cylinders sitting at the shop. Kinda hard to "give up" on that.

I bet Scott is stoked to race on the west coast again. Not terribly far from his home town.

I hope you are right, seeing that Torc planned it on a weekend that was open is a good indication that everyone is welcome.

Cmon Steve that was what, 3 or 4 years ago that happened. Casey Currie ran Team Associated the whole last year he ran in TORC. Almost all the TORC drivers have raced at a Lucas Oil event, how many Lucas Oil drivers have raced at a TORC event. Heres how this should go down, move the date of this event back a couple of weeks, Lucas and Torc points finals on Sat, seperate races. Combine Lucas cup money with Huseman Cup money for the greatest shortcourse final of the year every year from here on out. All the sponsers, all the vendors, all the tire companies, all the fans and all the drivers under one big tent. This event would be bigger than the Daytona 500.

Sorry Jake, that's incorrect. Casey was not allowed to run AE stickers in TORC last year and you won't find any pictures from last year with them on.
