Re: Roger Norman buying Score????
I really think it takes a special touch and heart felt feeling to continue what Sal has created. Although over the years people have talked about the money I think that money is the furthest thing from Sals mind at most times while creating something so magical.
Mickey Thompson hand picked Sal to make it happen and Sal has made it his lifes passion and in my opinion he has done a steeler job. I mean really he should get most of the credit for where the sport is today. There have been others who have carried this sport with passion, Walt Lot probably on the top of this list, but no one I think has ever done it with more determination than Sal. I respect the man and what he has created.
I also respect his nephew Paul and their right hand Oscar Ramos, both great people that love this sport and always rise to the occasion. I'm not sure if either one of them would want to step to where Sal has been but really my hope is that Sal is there doing the parts he wants to do for many many years to come, he's an inspiration to me.
Honestly someday I would like to be one of the people that keeps growing this sport like Sal has and I hope I'm always doing the right things for the sport. For now I try and do it through media and awareness and by doing what I can to help what we love. I'm a racer and my passion is the Baja, a place with so many twists and turns it is hard to gauge what will be happening around the next corner.
Much respect to Sal and everyone that helps make our dreams a reality. Someday Sal will hand the keys over but I think it will be much like the day Mickey chose him, the right person with the right passion and vision at the right time.
Carry on with the rumors

Great words Cameron, spot on. I agree , SCORE almost needs to be inherited not bought, due to all the people behind the scenes that make SCORE what it is. You Cameron would be a perfect canidate for your love of BAJA and the sport, if it wasn't going to be Paul & Oscar as the sucessors. I hope whoever becomes his sucessor, they can step in now to learn the ropes and connections to give Sal a much deserved break , so we can continue to race in BAJA for many years to come.

Re: Roger Norman buying Score????
I often wonder what the value of 'Score-International' would even be in a private purchase in today's market -- I can't imagine it would be worth anything like it would of been, say (5) years ago --- As a businessman, I will say Score is not for sale at the moment, due to timing, the economy, Mexico relations etc. - ?? sorry to bust your rumor Buzzzzzzzz
not just a "spectator" .....
