If you had to push the RESET button on classes....
....what would it look like? How many classes would there be and what would the rules for those classes be? I know its pie in the sky but it might make for a fun philosophical conversation.
I think you would still separate trucks and buggies. Perhaps six truck classes would be:
Unlimited full size (TT)
Unlimited mid size (6/72)
Supermodified Full size (8)
Supermodified midsize (7)
Stock full
Stock mini
I'd open up the rules for these six which would accommodate more trucks, and make the lesser classes easier and less expensive to build and more fun. For instance, perhaps allow some more mods to the stock classes such as commercially available suspension kits that utilize stock pivots. That would let more trucks qualify to enter these classes.
Also, the specialized classes such as TrophyLite and Jeepspeed would run in one of these six classes but still have their own subcategory for their purses etc. For instance TL runs in 6 and Jeepspeed runs in Stock Mini or Full.
Similar plan for the buggy side of the house.
Just walk away. I will give you safe passage in the Wasteland. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror. I await your answer.----The Lord Humongous

What do you guys think about joining TT and class 1?
class 8, SS8, Pro Truck, and class 6 race together.
class 7 trucks race with 7-2 trucks.
10 & 12 together.
1 sportsman class not 3.
Bikes i would do Pro, expert, and sportsman.
Quads Pro & sportsman.

Yup. TT,7200, 8, 7, Stock full and stock mini are the only "truck" classes needed. Class 8 is a classic and the best class in all of racing haha and should be left alone, stock full could be opened slighly to allow for some aftermarket parts that wont make them any faster, but would make them more reliable and easier to prep. for example, heimed steering and aftermarket master cylinders. Im sick of all these feel good classes.

Spec classes in one big class and it would be the responsibility of whoever built or sold the respective different cars to offer purses and prizes to their cars. As the promoter I would award top 3 only regardless. You can always enter 1450 or sportsman buggy if you don't like this.

4 hour time gap between bikes and vehicles. Any bikes or quads in danger of being caught will be stopped at checkpoints and not allowed to finish. You better have your act together.
