Class 9,5/1600,7s
I see that we have low car counts in our classes, and I have an idea. Each class races for points and class win, but we pool the money together to a winner takes all program. If we have more than 5 cars we get bonus money. I have raced Both class 5/1600 and 7s, I will be on the lower end of the odds, but with a long race anyone could have that good day and win. I just think this will give us something to race for, other than beating the desert. Example: 7s truck finishes first (on time) ahead of the 5/1600's and the 9 car, 7s truck wins the pot and first in class. The 5/1600 & 9 car still get first in their class and points.
HDRA is looking for input.
BTW I will be in car 988

Re: Class 9,5/1600,7s
We are all for trying to find some way to get any sort of pay back, as it stands right now in 7s we won't even get a contingency award due to lack of cars entered, kind of depressing when you think about what its going to cost to race this race.

HDRA ? Any thoughts on this idea? I also checked avg speed info and found that 400 miles in a 9 car and 500 in a 12 car are pretty close. So if I beat the 12 cars can I get the fastest air cooled $$$..?
