I have an idea that could possibly be a win win for both series's..
Lucas listens to the racers/sponsors concerns, supports their view and calls a truce. TORC gains racers for the Hiseman Cup race and it becomes an epic race for TORC
.... Under one condition...
LOORS moves Lucas Cup to Lake Elsinore and offers free entry fees for pro classes and all TORC drivers drive the LOORRS cup in support of Lucas.
... Lucas gets what they want, TORC gets what they want, racers get what they want and fans in California have A LOT to be excited for!!
Bob, Mike, Ken, Tony, Jason.. I know you guys are out there reading this... LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!

Re: Shortcourse UNIFICATION??...is it here??
This whole Memorial Race was supposed to be a good thing, to honor Rick and Jeff, it disappoints me that our race industry turned this into such a fiasco!! So sorry Michelle! Hey racers, we were able to pull together at the time of their death, I think we can probably do it again.

Pretty sad. I can't wait for this race. We get to watch you guys race twice in one month! Haha

I love this idea. Can't make it to Arizona for the cup race so it would be awesome to have it at Elsinore and it would be even better if the torc guys ran also.

Pipe dream now. Unless LOORRS does something to "save face" after how bad they made themselves look at the drivers meeting...

Still waiting for someone to chime in with the "WHOLE STORY" unfortunatly the short version is all that needs to be said, what Bob should have said was absolutly nothing, because we all know promoters dont want to share there racers,it just goes without saying. The racers and fans that loved the Husemans will be there,Its not about loyalty to Loorrs, its about remembering one of the greatest and supporting shortcourse,I hope this is a annual event in Cali forever.

When Jim Baldwin had the Jason Baldwin cup do you think he was worried about how much of the money was getting kicked back to his family?? It is about showing respect to fallen racers!
Michelle Huseman and Jim Baldwin both lost someone they love but they aren't exactly in the same tax bracket. I don't think that it is out of line to ask if Michelle and Ricky are going to receive financial benefit from this race. Isn't helping Rick's family a great way to show your respect?
