Re: Shortcourse UNIFICATION??...is it here??
Just so you know, we used the same feed and camera angles Lucas showed on there TV package, the only people that ever had to refresh was because they had a ****ty computer and ****ty internet. "Live" Streaming video is the future and I stand behind it 100% for the Fans the Racers and the family's of the racers that cannot make the race. Watching the tape delayed program on TV is like old news, everyone knows who won who broke and any drama that happen's in between, The Quality and production will continue to get better as the sponsor money come's to play. We do it for the Fans. Lucas never payed us a dime > Thats to the Dollars to Cents comment.

Don't take my comment personal. I was speaking "in general", it wasnt aimed towards any one person or group of people.
Live streaming will get there, now just isn't the time. Sponsors just can't justify the expense .. LOORRS tv programming will help gain followers and drive people to the Internet to watch live streaming, In due time.

i wish i could predict the stock market with the same accuracy.........

Re: Shortcourse UNIFICATION??...is it here??
If i may, i would like to add a post to this thread - though the title suggests Short Course Unification, the majority of the replies appear to be regarding the Rick Huseman Memorial Race. Politics and Series aside, and i realize that won't be easy, the idea of a Race in memory of Rick, Jeff and Danny, surely can't be a bad thing and i'd hope the complex politics of our sport can be waived for this idea. Along with drivers like Jeff Kincaid and Johnny Greaves, Rick Huseman was one of the elite off-road racers that Toyota have supported over the past years. Not just for sheer driving talent, but because they were and still are, great ambassadors for the sport of off-road racing and ambassadors for our Toyota product. To turn this event into a war of words between the two existing series, can only dilute the great opportunity to remember our great friend Rick, his brother Jeff and Danny Hicks. Remember it was only 10 months ago that we lost these guys, and the Toyota family, along with all his friends and family miss them immensely. We at Toyota, would like nothing better than to celebrate Rick's legacy with a race involving ALL the short-course off-road drivers, especially since Rick raced in both series. We are not looking for an easy "Unification" since there are many factors out of our control and it will be a long road for sure, but an off-road event dedicated to the Huseman brothers, should bring some some comfort for Michelle and the family, that Rick is not and never will be forgotten. Hope it turns out to be a great event. Shaggy @ TRD
