Pemex fuel additives?
We're going to run our 4 seater at the Ensenada to SF Record race and have never "raced" a pump gas motor on Pemex. Any suggestions or experience with fuel additives? It's a Turnkey LS1 tuned to run Pemex, thanks for any input!

i've used pemex 91 octane in my ls1 4 seater, lightning prerunner, and my racetruck with no additives at all with no issues.

I have only had bad gas in Mex a couple of times and that was back before there was electricity, my Thing at 10:1 runs better on the Mex gas then what we get state side.

we run our ls7 and ls2 on 91 pemex but those are both prerunners. VP has an additive we have used before that never had a problem with but not sure of the name. call Ray at vp Mexico he will know.

I used the lucas oil octane booster in my S/C tacoma which is very finiky when it comes to pinging with bad gas and it worked great. I actually even used the pemex green with it and it was noticeably better than the US 91. If you buy it by the case on amazon it comes out to $6 a bottle, just remember to put it in the tank before you fill up.

^^ Pour in the Lucas Octane Booster before a complete fill up. Works great.
