Re: Calliente 250 updates
Celebrity radio disc jockey Craig Williams of KOMP in Las Vegas (1801) is recorded to have completed one lap with a time of 1:32.07 in the Champ Car class. He remains one of our favorites. However, he hasn't been seen since and his crew members are reaching out to see where he's as of about noon.

Re: Calliente 250 updates
With regards to Team Ford owner Steve Olliges, we don't have a time for him in his No. 51 truck. As of this writing, the only competitor in Unlimited Truck is Tony Scott in the No. 33 entry.
Also just heard that Craig Williams is broken down about five miles east of the start-finish line.

Good seeing Day Gang in the pits. She is now selling real estate in Southern Californian and not suprisingly, she is doing very well. We're all glad to see her in Caliente.

Cody Freeman was leading the Class 10 competition in No. 1002 when he became ill and also had a flat tire as he was leading the class.

CJ Hutchins is having mechanical issues with his Class 1 entry. And finally, we're hearing that high-flying leader TJ Flores in the No. 100 car is due at about 1 p.m. You can bet that as hard as he is driving, he'll be picture-perfect coming down Oh My God Hill as he heads for the finish line.

Re: Calliente 250 updates
Interesting note from one competitor is that the track is so windy that it has actually made some drivers ill. No question that the Caliente 250 has had its share of challenges for the 81 drivers that started the race this morning.

Word has it that as many as three Class 10 cars have rolled including James Dean in the 1082 was among them. Also, one driver said the the Champ Car class has been a victim of the trees.
