Figuring the course without the "exaggerated spectator loop" puts the first part of the course right around 75 miles from just south of Ojos to the "goat trail", if it uses the same course as last year. Then there is right around 15 miles of pavement to the "Restart". From there, it appears to be the same course they used last year for the same race, around 67 miles to the finish. Right around 157 miles total. This is for sure going to be a SPRINT race.
I would agree that it is VERY close, minus the exaggerated loop.
I do have a GPS plot based on what I put together along with a google earth file of what I said above. Since it is by no means official, if you want it, then PM me and I will pass it along.

RECORD does a great job marking their courses..I raced several of their races without a GPS download and it is no problem following the course. Blue/yellow ribbons.
