Fireworks 500 Waiver Requirements

Information regarding the required waiver forms is posted on hdrarace.com. We recommend you start by printing and reading the Waiver Instructions; and then print the required waiver forms. Everyone arriving at the property must go to the Wide Open office, 420 USA Parkway, (I-80 East of Reno) and complete the Recon Run waiver forms. If you are not Recon running at the course, you can follow the normal registration procedures.

There are two points to be aware of: Waivers must be signed for the Recon runs and a second set submitted when you register for the race. Both sets must be originals. You cannot collect the signatures once and do a copy.

Waivers must be signed for both HDRA and our insurance company. On the Waiver Instruction matrix, columns 1-2-3 are HDRA waivers required and 4-5-6 are insurance waivers required. For example: I am a driver of record so I will need to sign #1 and #4, my team members would sign #2 and #4 (There are additional requirements if a minor is involved.) The DOR cannot sign waiver #4 taking responsibility for the team; individual signatures must be submitted.
