I guess he bought a baseball park near tbe course and is gutting it and relocating the bleachers and stadium lighting to tbe course spectator areas. There's pics on his Facebook page. Looks like a decent sized project. Lotsa earth movers and concrete footings etc...

Heard he took out the hill climb. More because some class may not make it and if someone breaks it would end the race. Cliffs on one side and mountain boulders on the other.

yep..bottlenecks can really screw up your race and a fairly steep, chewed up hill with no way around, combined with limited cars and trucks is a recipe for disaster..

I'm not there just what I heard. But sounds like it is a good decision for the race. I'm heading up tomorrow. Sounds like it is going to be a great race.
