Re: What breaks the most? Spare parts that need to be carried?
The way some people drive I would suggest a spare pair of underwear or two... But seriously there are a lot of good suggestions here - gonna rethink my stash. The last time I went out I burst an "unburstable" break line - what can I say, evidently I have a lead brake foot. Good quality duct tape too - don't leave the start line without a roll.

We have 1 tool bag with every tool to work on things & we have a bag with 2 complete cv's,grease & tools specific for that job. jack, belts, tire, impact gun, breaker bar, tape & zip ties on the back. & water of course. But need to find room for a spare rear arm & welder somewhere

The thing that breaks the most in desert racing is my heart. So much hard work and so many challenges. It can be truly heart breaking.

Re: What breaks the most? Spare parts that need to be carried?
This is not exactly on the topic of spare parts. But it is an observation that would have helped two racers last year. The new popular high end TINY little aircraft batteries are nice but who has a spare in the pits or on their chase rig? If you use a full size battery tray anyone can loan you a battery to finnish the race.
