Is there a cap on how many cars you are taking? What is the latest we can sign up? What kind of safety/insurance requirements are there? Sounds like an awesome event. I would love to be part of it.

Great job bring this back Kenny and the SNORE crew.

Snore vice prez John P is the lead on this and will have all the little details out next week as they are still being worked out . All of the off road community is invited to help these kids dreams come true.

There is a little more info on the Snore site about the wish ride but not much. I really like the idea of this year it being a stand alone event , before it was a bit much to race and the next day do the wish ride. And Laughlin in November is nice just mite have to bring the boat for Sunday .

Yeah , many teams from out of town including me and my boys stayed up late Sat nights after the race,prepping to make the race cars able to run the make a wish loop at speed. One year I was taking a young boy for a ride, he started telling me he had lukemia. I started crying in the intercom, he says to me mister why you crying i'm the one thats sick. I turned off to the pavement came back to the start, climbed out of the car like a poosy and let Kyle drive the rest of the kids that day. They love it. Someone post the video Don Wall made of the event. I remember my boys flying over his head as he was talking in the beginning.

P-Diddy that was awesome and this 50 year old man had tears in his eyes. GREAT TIMES doing this with these kids. Really puts life in perspective when you see things like this. I hope everyone from SNORE past and present can put aside differences and participate in this. EVERYONE!

Bdub, All over it, talked to Kenny the other day along with BLM and LTC. We would have been grooming an infield for the race the next weekend, but I talked with LTC and BLM and they wanted to know if everyone is OK with back to back weekend permits and we agreed that Saturday was all about the kids. I had some GREAT times and stories I tell over and over again about those few years of Make A Wish. Ran a few times until almost out of gas and the stories from the children are heartbreaking. Never considered after that it was me taking them for a ride, on the other hand it was like them allowing me to drive for them. If all goes well there should be no reason we can not drop the blade the week before and create an infield and then park the equipment for the day and enjoy. The video was awesome to see again and I do hope Don and his mom Maryetta show up, they had so much pride in the event. Thanks

So cool Robert, I would like to see people like Don and Maryetta, Kenny Cox, Travis, Steve Alexander, Bill Shapley ,The Messers, Spooner , Bradleys, Freemans, Wiks, Hutchins, John Pelliser, Lone kid , Lucas,GG ,Pat Dailey, lvdc, Flippens, Tapperts The Burgos familia and on an on be there with nothing but happiness.Heck maybe we can even bring Rob Fiege out of mothballs haha It would be so nice to see everyone get along no matter who you race with for these kids.
