Fuel Cell Problem
Ok guys, looking for any help or suggestions cause I know alot of you are smarter than me out there. So I have a jaz fuel cell on my prerunner and I am having a few issues with the cell. So a few times during the day the fue cell will actually push a large amount of fuel out the vent tube and breather. I have tried to change routing of the vent a couple diffrent ways. Also at time the fuel cell is hard to fill with fuel. it seems like the rollover valve wont press in and then other times its easy regardless of amount of fuel in the cell. The biggiest issue is the venting it definetly not cool to see large amounts of fuel pouring out of the vent. Anyways thanks for any help guys!

Re: Fuel Cell Problem
What size is your vent hose.... If the hose is too small it wont vent fast enought to fill your cell quickly and will also cause fuel to overflow out of the hose. Also if your rollover valve is blocked for some reason it will be hard to fill quickly

Re: Fuel Cell Problem
Check the vent size first. If it's a JAZ cell it's probably a -8 (1/2") or a -10 (5/8"). If you're doing a remote fill or using dump cans, you may need to increase the vent size. As far as fuel coming out the vent line, most of those vents us a stainless steel ball to shut off fuel flow that you can replace with a hollow aluminum ball that floats to shut off fuel flow out of the vent line. The problem with this though is that they are so lightweight they can shut off air flow out of the tank when fueling too. If you're filling at the pump, I'd go with the float ball; if you're using dump cans I'd upgrade the vent size.
