That would be rad! Not sure who is currently signed up for both races other than Clayton Scudder and Don German. Hopefully more people take Sam up on his generous offer.

This Fireworks course is rocky, if anybody runs out of tires, or DNF's early, run the USA 500 race the following week.
There was some carnage with the qualifying course today, I saw a few guys sliding the rear end right into rocks. Patience will be the key to winning, slower might be faster!

There were a lot of early DNFs last weekend, is anyone taking Sam up on his offer? If the USA 500 course is anything like it was last year it will be a lot less brutal than the Fireworks 500 course and more what people are accustomed to with lakebeds and mountain passes over existing roads.
