Giant beams vs burg race kit

Hey everyone, I am looking to get more travel out of the front of my taco. The rear is linked with 24" of travel and the front only has 15 and modified factory spindles (ESB kit). My question is, should I go with the Burg full race kit (claims 18-20 inches) or should I go with a giant equal length beam set up? Pros a nd cons of each? The truck is fully caged and a trailer truck. However it is street legal since im in az, but the point is its not my DD so im looking for the best, most reliable, economical, clean travel.

I think you just answered your own question there. Beams are dirty nasty travel, tho reliable, it sounds like you're looking for the sophistication of an A-arm kit from Camburg.

haha yeah I just thought someone may have another side as to why a beam kit could benefit me, as I am not too worried about tire wear since I dont really drive it on road. I have seen some high dollar pre runners with beams such as the norman motorsports f-150 (97-03 body style), and wondered why they would run beams when they obviously have money (trophy truck team).

Get our race kit remember to look at what comes with the kit for the money "billet hubs and big brakes" and the work you need to do to install either kit.
Now if you want to go big you can get one of our 7200 bulk head kits $12,500 then you have 24" of clean TT travel!

With an i beam kit on your truck you will spend a ton just to build steering.

i dont think it will cost that much to build steering for an i beam set up even with ram assist. just remember if you do run an a arm kit always have an extra rack on hand. they are a weak link on the taco's. on my taco we did a full custom swinger set up but that isn't a cheap way to go either.

Haha trust me if I had the money your bulkhead would be on there! But it may almost be pointless unless I had the money to drop some more hp in it! Does the race kit use stock location mounts for upper and lower arms? What rack setup do you guys use? Can you run a bump stop off the upper arm? Your kit is prob my best option as I already have 10" 2.5 shocks.

Stock rack, kit comes with Heim steering, kit mounts in stock location, set it up strapped with 18" and you will be more than good. 10" shocks will be perfect for what you are doing. Bump off upper will be good. Just run a rubber bump stop off the upper.
