Kyle Milligan, driver of the 4 time Championship SMT 7s Ranger #7130, will be teaming up with John Maraia and the Factory Transmissions sponsored Heavy Metal truck #863 to make a run for the big MONSTER money being offered up at the HDRA Fireworks 500 July 8th in Reno NV.

Kyle Milligan has won 4 of the last 5 year season championships he has raced and is currently leading 7s in the 2012 HDRA class points. Kyle has numerous 1st place finishes in his career and almost always brings the SMT truck to a podium finish, Kyle was the likely choice to team up with John Maraia in his Heavy Metal truck #863 to make a run for the $35,000.00 being offer at the HDRA Fireworks 500 in Reno over the July 4 week. Kyle will be qualifying the truck on Thursday, taking the green flag on Saturday then turning the truck over to John for the checked flag win.

John Maraia owner of the Heavy Metal truck #863 has a long history of off road racing and along with the backing of Factory Transmissions they bring together a first class HM truck ready to win this race. Funny story but true, Last time I drove our truck with Kyle, I started the race and brought the truck in behind the leader by about 5 minutes, we did a driver change and Kyle got in the truck, at the end on the next lap when we dumped gas Kyle was in the lead...four pits down a I heard 10 people yelling from our competitors pit as loud as they could, and I quote "PUT THE OLD MAN BACK IN THE TRUCK!!"
