Maui accommodations?
Who's got what to tell me? Sending my mom and aunt for a total of sixteen days, looking to put them in a nice condo or something. Figured I would check on here to see if anyone in la familia has something there they rent out, or if anyone has a great hookup. No hotels, campsites w/hookups
Preferrably a condo, (2BR hopefully?) middle to south side of island (Kihei over Lahaina). Dates are September 9-25....so, what say all of you???

What time of year? It can be hot in the summer and since you're closer to the equator the sun is harsher. It's very intense. I'm serious. Most of the time the best priced condos are older and don't have A/C. Why not Kaannappalli? It's a great area.

+1 on the heat. I have a time share in Maui. We go every year. October through to April are great times to go. Whales are there from December to April. Nothing like sitting on your balconey watching the Humpback whales play in the Molokai Channel off of Kaanapali is amazing. Why not Kaanapali or Napili? Those areas are amazing.

The Costco is right next to the Airport. Land, grab your rental car, hit Costco and head to the Condo. Yeeee!

Hit me up on pm if you want. I've been like 15 times and I know some great places to eat and hit up for fun too. It's pretty easy to get around Maui.

Sounds like you need to look for bed and breakfast places, lots of them over there don't serve you breakfast, you just get the pad and are on your own.

Thanks for the input kids. They already have the plane tickets, so the dates are set. My moms been several times as well, she prefers the south side.
Guess she's just spent so much time there it's comfortable, I dunno. I'm sure they'll do the Hana road, spend a day in Lahaina, do volcano top n the such. Nimmy, drop some suggestions for me to pass on!!!
