Re: Bryce Menzies @xgames!
You would think that this being part of an actual series (Global Rally Cross) they could have done a better than half ass attempt that was on display this weekend.
True Rally Enthusiast know and admit that ESPN/X Games should not be involved with running the race format. Why they permit it and support this is beyond me.
Good for the sponsors I guess.

Agreed. So sad to see it go downhill like this. The best days was when McRae was racing it and rolled it in the final turn and stayed on the gas to take the win! That was the course and format that should still be being run!!!

compared to cars that go from 0 to 60 in 2 seconds, in fact quicker than Formula 1 cars the stadium trucks would look like snails. I agree the show was poor, they should have had more than 3-4 at a time, maybe put roll bars all around the car bodies so they could beat on each other for the front. Besides the best in the world showed up, won, Sebastion Loab was in a league of his own. Except for Marcus Gronholm is in the same league and equel to Loab but got hurt. no one else even compairs or should be in the same race as those 2=dumb. Pastrona sounded lame after the crash and said he was going to take Menzies car but lucky for Menzies the rules wouldnt allow it. Good try to Menzies. The Hot wheels loop and jump was really cool I thought, they sure did a good job making it look like the real kids race track.
37th year and still love it!!

The previous two rounds of the GRC so far have had great door to door racing with plenty of room to pass. This course waz a one line track with nowhere to pass. Why they would design a course like this is beyond me. The only race was from the start to turn 1, whatever order they got through there was exactly how they finished.
